Big Time Gaming: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Review

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Review

Who Wants to be a Millionaire is a slot based on the hit TV show (obviously).

When this slot was first released I have to say I was not overly impressed, I thought 'Here we go, another Bonanza clone', but since then this game has grown on me. While it can be pretty tough to bonus (like most Megaways games) it is not ludicrously impossible. If I have one major gripe its the first gamble to 10 spins, nothing worse than grinding away for an hour to trigger a bonus and then losing said bonus on the very first gamble! That being said it doesn't seem to lose overly often so its always worth trying for 10 spins at least. The game has the usual 10 standard symbols and four premium ones (just like Bonanza). Every win can trigger a reaction where wins can keep cascading down. Question mark symbols act as wilds and replace all symbols other than the scatters. Millionaire has an incredible 117,649 Megaways to win (and lose lol)

Now if you can trigger the three scatters or more that is when the real fun starts, this will take you into the bonus where you are awarded a minimum of 8 free spins which you have the option to gamble (if you're brave or stupid enough) all the way up to 50 spins!

You can so this by selecting either A, B, C, D and press FINAL ANSWER, similar to the actual show. A successful gamble moves up in the prize ladder and an unsuccessful attempt may result in a loss of Free Spins. At each gamble, players are given a lifeline in the form of:

50:50 – two incorrect answers removed

Phone a Friend – the most likely answer revealed

Ask the Audience – all answer odds are revealed.

My Verdict: While this slot is very Bonanzaesque, the added excitement of the free spins gamble ladder and overall smoother game play make this one of my favourite slots of the last year.
